Ditto on the JSB 7.33s for the HW30. I've had a couple of other pellets do as well, given that the HW30 is not too pellet fussy, but the JSB 7.33s seem to be made for the HW30. I keep a good supply of the 7.33s on hand just for our two HW30s.

I like the 7.87 too. Some shooters found them loose fitting but they fit great in my HW30 barrel. Ron put me on the 7.33s and I stuck with them in my scoped HW30, Love 'Em. I like the 8.64 H&N FTT in my peep sight HW30.

H&N ftt is sweet little pellet too. I’ve put a hand full those through my 30s as well great accuracy.

Old gringo, I’ve never been to Utah airguns even though I am aware of the shop it seems more pcp focused and expensive. I’m a cheap sucker and stick to online deals when o can find them.

I know most folks love JSB's but overall across the board I've had the best luck with H&N FTT's.

Also love the Spyderco as well.

The FTTs shoot best in my wife's 177 Hw30 and sometimes shoot better than the JSBs or AA in mine when the JSBs are somewhat undersized.
The FTTs always shoot very good or better in any of my 177 Weihrauchs. They're far more consistently sized than the JSBs. I've never gotten a bad tin of 177 FTTs.

JSB and to a lesser degree the AA clones can vary more widely in size tin to tin. I buy pellets ten or more tins of the same pellet at a time. I've had lot #s of 177 JSB tins that shot great in all my Weihrauchs. Even better than 177 FTTs. BUT, I've also had lot #s of the same 177 JSB tins that shot poorly in all but one or two guns. The H&N quality control is apparently better.

You might ask why do I still shoot JSBs when their QC occasionally lets me down and the H&N never do? Three things.
1) it's pretty rare to get that bad lot of pellets. Some are better than others but but they almost always shoot very well in most of my rifles.
2) in 177 JSBs produce more power in my guns than the H&Ns.
3) JSBs typically have better BCs and retain more energy downrange.

For me the benefits of the 177 JSBs keep me buying them. The 177 H&N FTTs are excellent pellets. If consistent dependable accuracy is more important to you than energy I highly recommend the FTTs. As pertaining to my favorite little rifle the Hw30 the FTTs are as heavy as I'd recommend.

I haven't shot my peep sighted Hw30 much since my first trip to my AR house. This is five shot groups at ten yards in the basement. The top row is H&N Match 8.2 wadcutters averaging 650 fps.
The second row I JSB 7.33 averaging 705 fps. These are both excellent pellets for the Hw30s. My inconsistent groups are due to lack of practice.

I can't hit a garage yet. I did hit the broad side of a barn. I need more practice. Maybe I'll try the artillery hold.
