Hey there, decided I wanted to tinker with my 1377 and ended up here. I'm already on a bunch of gun forums, but I figured I'd like some expertise on mods and air-gunning from a forum like this. I hope to do some more more airgun hunting this year, even though I have other 'real' guns.

Welcome to the GTA Family! I too hail from MA originally. Palmer, exit 8 on the Mass Pike. I used to go to the Bershires to snowmobile and for scenic drives back when we kids looked out the windows at stuff rather than a DVD screen mounted in the back of the headrests. It was always beautiful country. Welcome again. There are many people that will have plenty for you to decide on what to do with that 1377!!

Thanks for the welcome guys. I'm actually not too far from Palmer...

I mostly hunt and plink over serious target shooting, and the 1377 will obviously be for mostly smaller critters. Maybe I'll get a break-barrel some day -there's something fascinating about quiet, but powerful airguns.

Welcome to the GTA. This is a great place to talk with others about what they have done with their 1377 but let me warn you, they are enablers of the worst sort. They will encourage you to tear down and rebuild your 1377 repeatedly!! Don't say I didn't warn you!

who'd of guessed, all these gunners from Ma. I'm in Barre-northwest of Worcester and always looking for people to shoot with- have 26 acres and a 90yd. range in the backyard-mainly Pcp but have a few springers,too.plenty of air and Ft,paper and an assortment of beercans(looks like Christmas tree ornaments) welcome to the forum

I'm a new guy here as well, Also from MA, Hubbardston right next door to Barre. Just picked up a 392 steroid, not to sure if its for me, think I might get a break barrel instead. Also have a 1322, fun little pistol, and lastly have my original airgun from child hood a Daisy 880 with a red dot on top, currently on loan to my niece and nephew for a starter.

You really are next door- want to try out some other guns this week?- I have a weird schedule and off Thur-Fri or could do early Sat- have to work Sat.night. Have a nice assortment of springers and PCP so you can check them all- have plenty of pellets also-give me a shout tomorrow if something you want to do.508-633-5072

I too am from MA. I'm in a town on the North Shore where we had a problem with some witches (actually a land grab and church faction food fight).

I was in a Marine Reserve unit in Chickopee and hiked the Appalachian Trail from Tyringham to North Adams (50 miles) one week in August a few years ago. Great area.
