Seriously though, every hobby/industry has it's abbreviations, and nobody's going to type out the long version when "everyone" here knows what they mean. 

The best example of this is the good ole "USA" . . . should it really always be fully spelled out?  After all, it is an acronym and not the real name.  That sure would make for an awkward and long chant at the Olympics . . .   

I suppose one could say that it is not an acronym but more of a "nickname", but the same could be said of CPHP within participants of this hobby . . .

Bottom line, acronyms and abbreviations are all over the place and we are not going to change that - you are asking to change part of basic human nature.  Just ask when you don't know.  Good people will answer, and any negative comments can be ignored as they show the true colors of their authors . . .

Thanks BR, but I spent the last 20+ years living in acronyms in the Aerospace Industry.

Just as easy to...spell it out, so "everyone" understands what's being said.
