Long term Leapers quality?

How are the UTG/Leapers scopes in the long run? I have a couple of them and so far i really like them. I am not a huge fan of illum. reticles but whatever. clarity is great and functionally they are working the way they are supposed to. I was just curious to know if they were prone to breakage or any other defects. They seem to be a fairly nice product for the money. they are made in china but overall quality control visually seems to be very good. I'd appreciate anyones input on the matter. I have a 3x9x40 5th gen AO and a 3x12x40 RGB AO. They are almost identical with the exception of different turrets and emerald coating of the lenses on one. both were about 65-70 bucks

I have a Leapers on my old Winchester 435, and I love it. So far, it's holding up very well.

They are a Michigan based business. I have had great luck with a 3-9x32AO from 2007. Recently I bought another 3-9x32AOand had troubles with it.....Leapers stood behind it and let me upgrade to the new 3-12x40 AO.
generally their scopes are durable...
I will buy more of their products

i only buy leapers, ive never had a single issue with a leapers scope and have even contacted leapers about sunshades for my 3-9x32AO & 3-12x40IR-AO.. the prices where awsome and i got a reply with the amount for bouth shades and a phone number to call to do a payment over the phone.. worked to $6.00 shipped for the just the 32mm sunshade and $9 bucks shipped for the 40mm sunshade. combined iirc the total shipped was less then 16 or 17 bucks..
ive compared centerpoint and leapers, leapers always felt like more quality and the sight picture was clearer and sharper then the centerpoint. but that was done several years ago..

i use both leapers and centerpoint daily, and i can say the leapers are way tougher, and have a clearer sight picture, and have nicer mil-dot reticles.

I have leapers glass on mine and they are worth every penny. My 177 350 has taken down 2 but the warrenty service was awesome. Had to pay shiiping once but that was $10. Not bad. I tried a 4-16 center point while waiting for one of my scopes but took it back. Couldnt get a clear sight pic no matter where i had it on the gun. Leapers scopes are the way to go.

It's interesting to see several comments on this post stating they like Leapers scopes better than Center Point. I was under the impression they are the same scope model for model just the Center Point name is marketed by Crosman and unless you find a sale, a little higher in price. I do have 3-9 X 50's in both Leapers and Center Point they came with identical sun shades and lenses covers, allen wrenches and the same battries for the red green feature. My eye can't tell any difference in glass quality and except for the branding IMO they are the same. Just a observation.
