They just don't feel nearly as nice as thier HW counterparts.I enjoy shooting mine, it does have a good trigger it's just not as comfortable as my Weihrauch rifles or as accurate.

I find it funny how a question about one gun turns into a comparison to other guns.Clearly, we're bored and the "Groupie" mentality takes over, LOL!Anyway, from my own VERY biased perspective, what makes the 34 a REALLY good gun is that it is "field-worthy".It was not made to be a safe queen or a bench gun.It was not made to win beauty contests. It was made as a workhorse and has demonstrated over the 80+ years of the model, to be just that.Is it a GREAT gun? Depends on WHAT you want it for. As a TRULY all-around gun, few guns can even come close. Are they perfect OoB? Heck, NO! because airgunning has so many variations and angles that it would be impossible to check all the boxes and please everyone when the opinions run counter to each other to start with. Are they easy to work on? Yup! Just two pins and you get to the heart of the machine. After market kits and parts? you do not have enough fingers to count the companies that MAKE those. So, with all the premises above, it is easy to see that the answer is that the 34 is a great design because it allows YOU to make whatever you need out of it, but MOSTLY, because it is a PRACTICAL gun.The 34 EMS IS a 34 because, at its heart, it continues with the tradition and philosophy of the original 34.Keep well and shoot straight!HM
....agree on the always -it starts to get boring rethoric- comparison by the Weihrauch brigade)
