p 17 accuracy/fun

Does the P17 trigger adjustment screw really do much? If so I was thinking about drilling a hole in the trigger guard to access that screw with an allen wrench. What do you all think? Is it worth the trouble?

I have shot P17s for many years, but I have not adjusted the triggers because the triggers are excellent "out of the box".
Shoot it some before you adjust the trigger.

Same here. The triggers on my 2 were pretty nice right out of the blister pack, so I haven't touched the screw.

the adjustment screw that comes stock on the p17 isnt long enough to do much. I messed with mine when I had it apart. you can take out about half the first stage at most. the screw on my p120d though can take it all out and its not necessarily a good thing. the first shot I take with it is always a surprise

Actually, a 120D is what I have. Got a P17 and a Steoger XP4coming. Thanks for the info.
