Who can reseal a Haley 457?

I need a reputable tuner.  I can't tell if it is the transfer port, or the valve and opening the tube is not happening as easy as I would like.

If you have a recommendation please let me know.

Is it leaking down after you fill it.
I have two Haley guns. That I have completely had apart several times. Cleaning.
Do you want to do it yourself .
If not Leroy would be a good choice. Or Will at saddle mountain can probably help.
I had him do a couple things for me made parts for me.

It leaks as you fill it.  Either the valve is stuck open or the transfer port seal is busted.  I have it apart to the point where you can see the transfer port but opening the tube to get to the valve is difficult.

IF you have the upper off. you and some one else should be able to unscrew the air tube.
Once you get it unscrewed you can see the valve. Unscrew the spring retainer.
Then you can see the part that seals pull it out then look for a piece of something
Stuck in the valve stem where it seals. If you go into it clean your air tube and
Lube it with silicon oil. I get mine from the hobby shop. It is shock oil.
Replace the oring it is 3/4x1 you can get them from Lowes. The end cap has
The same oring.
Mine was leaking out the barrel one time. All I did was hook up the air crack
The valve and pull and release the hammer a few times then cocked it and
It sealed.
If air is not coming out the barrel then it is the oring where the air tube seals.
How long have you had this gun??

may not apply, but had a leak like you are having in one of my marauder,s, and found that the valve stem material had a hair line crack,was fine if you used small amount of air, but past 100psi could here it leak, after a lot of other tries to fix and after replacing all the seals,still had the leak, finally with a magnifying glass i found it,,replaced the valve stem and all is well,but i know nothing of the insides of a Haley air gun.but i bet Leroy does, good luck..

I said that wrong. If air is coming out the barrel it is the valve not sealing. If it sounds like it is leaking
Where the valve plugs in to the action it is the oring. Either way you have to unscrew the air tube.

Yeah, that is the part that is giving me trouble.  It is pretty stuck on there.

You can also take two short 2x4s.  clamp them together get a 1 inch wood bit drill trough them.
Use that to clamp the tube in a vice. Put your stock screw back in. Use that to help unscrew it.

OK the no sheeeet path

1 get an eye dropper
2 mix dawn dish soap and make soapy water
3 eyedropper it on joints when rifle is charged with pressure
4 it will bubble at leaks
5 no bubbles
6 balloon on barrel at crown end  ?? inflates valve stem is leaking


its not tuff to find leaks
if ya use soapy water wipe off and blow dry and wipe with oily rag

or spray
 and wipe down after with WD 40
