1962 "Benjamin Franklin" 137.
Picked this one up today and have cleaned it up a little polished up the trigger interfaces and oiled it. Seems to shoot OK, we'll see if it hold air overnight.
The previous owner said it belonged to his grandmother, so I'm probably the second owner
.

Well it seems to have a slow leak, pumps up OK and if you shoot it works OK, but i left it sit overnight and it had nothing in the morning.
Looks like I have a call to B&A in my future.
Never done one of these, have done some same period co2 rebuiilds so this will be a learning journey.
I seem to remeber that thses had a lead seal for the valve halves, anybody confirm that?

I can't confirm anything about the lead but I know you need a special tool to get the valve out... It's been a while since I've looked inside so I could be wrong but I think there's a nut in there, threaded on the outside, with a square hole and the valve stem sticking out through it.
So I think the tool would look something like a hollow piece of square tubing with arms for leverage to turn...
I know I can confirm 1 hard to find screw... There may be another but I can't remember... Just move some of the actions around if you don't see it.. It may be behind something also... I'm now thinking that maybe that's the reason mine got beat to shreds...
I hope this helps...
