Silencer Adapter for Benjamin 392S

This was sold to me on ebay for $34.50.

Please note the rough looking machined finish.

But it fits on my 392S. It even functions. Pretty well in fact.

BUT, you have to remove the black paint from around the OUTSIDE of the barrel tip in order for the adapter to barely slide on. I didn't want to ream out the adapter itself.

But once you get it on your 392S (I only mention the 392S because it is the only gun I have tried fitting it on, it will very likely fit the 397S and perhaps even other versions of Benjamin airguns), but anyway once you do get it on, when you screw on a silencer to this adapter the sound difference is quite dramatic.

Meaning after installing the adapter, I threaded on a DonnyFL Tatsu .22/.25 and the gun only made as much noise at 10 pumps, as it used to make at 2 pumps without  the silencer. So yeah, it definitely works.

However, with the rough machining, etc., it may not sit on one Benji's barrel tip in the exact same direction as another's, meaning it may or may not be concentric to the barrel bore.

This turned out to be the case on mine and I got around it by using a slightly larger bore silencer (the Tatsu .22/.25) so the pellet could fly through with less chance of clipping.

In all fairness the ebay seller did offer a refund/return as long as I bought another unit which he would check out first, but then I let some time pass (actually I had eye surgery) so now I'm just going to give this away, as long as the successful declarant is willing to pay $7.90 for shipping and take his/her chances on whether it will sit straight enough on their gun.

There are no other caveats - if you have a Benjamin you think this adapter might fit, you are welcome to claim it even if you got something from me before.
