Wood stock flash 177

Wanted to say how happy I am with my hatsan flash wood stock in 177. This thing is a hole in hole tack driver with cheap crosman ultra mags. Besides that it cycles smooth and is a beauty to boot. Any other fans of the wood stock flashes out there?

Definitely was looking at these. They are beautiful guns. What kind of velocities with what pellets are you seeing out of it ?

I already have a synthetic in .22 and was eyeing the wood stock for a while. I know that Brothers in Arms on you tube had great info on the flash  with wood stock

Sighted mine in today, we had about 30 yards with smaller Splaterburst targets.  I put three shots  (once we adjusted the Hawke 3-9 scope) which were touching in the bullseye, and got dime sized groups with little trouble; my friend who shoots more did even better.  He said the group from my .22 Hatsan shot like another gun that cost three times as much.  Yeah, a tack driver with a lot of power.  It will kill.

We shot several pellets, but the best groups were had with the Predator GTO 11.75 grain domed pellets. One tiny ragged hole.

Oh, and as a side note, we did NOTHING to the gun other than run a few Ballistol soaked patches through the barrel and air the thing up. Out of the box accuracy was really good!

I haven't had a chance to chrony it yet. Just know it loves the ultra mags. I also have a synthetic version in 25. It shoots about everything well but really likes jsb kings

I had one for a few months and sold it off to fund another rifle. Mine was also .177. I took mine to bits filed all the ruff edges on the action touched up the crown etc. It was tuned down to 14 ish ftlbs. It was extremely accurate.

Only one caution. The screw holding the bolt in are known for snapping off if you try and remove it. Mine did. After it snapped the bolt handle comes right out. Hit it with some heat and the snapped piece will unthread. The smaller bolts on most scopes is a direct replacement.

You did it right….….usually researched, thought over decisions work out well.

Hatsan is not known for making pretty rifles….they came pretty close with that wood Flash.
