I tried the H&N Slug HP and H&N Grizzlys and JSB Knockouts in my 25 plastic stock Avenger and none of the would group at 33 yards. The knockout group was less than half an inch vertically, and a couple inches horizontally. Grizzlys would often miss a 8.5 x 11 inch target. Slug HPs were not that bad but bigger groups than the Knockouts. Same gun/tune puts FX 25.4 and JSB 33.95 into 1/4 inch groups pretty regularly. I think "Airgun Angie" said in one of her videos the knockouts worked for her. But I don't remember that she gave settings. Her's is a 25.
I am told our NSA 20.2 .216 slugs shoot in that gun

I know hajimoto had really good luck with .217 sized H&N 23 gr on his origin video. I believe the origin has the same barrel. I have a wood avenger coming Friday but I may sell without even opening. I kind of want a gamo coyote. I can’t tell you how much I love my urban.

The Coyote a BSA barrel as well?
I shot some NSA 17.5 gr .217 diameter in mine using the same tune I had set for the JSB 18gr pellets, and they shot fine. I didn't get a chance to shoot them at 100 yards, but at 50 yards a 10 shot group measured 1 1/4" center to center. The .217s shot a bit slower than my JSB 18s (832fps vs 887fps). I have some samples of the 17.5 gr. slugs on the way in .216 and .2165 diameter. I'll report my findings on my Avenger Wood Stock version thread.
