Need help with repair

Hello everyone.   Here's the scoop.  Pulled out my hatsan 135 vortex for the first time in a long time and it wouldn't hold air.  Disassembled hoping I could just replace the seal but nope, it was the piston.  Hatsan type 2.  Which I am having a hard time sourcing.   So my question is actually 2 parts.  First, Does anyone have a source for this piston and if so can you pass it along to me?  Second, if not, is there a way to switch this to a Springer?  Thanks to all for your help and although I've never been much of a poster I appreciate all the great info here.

Guessing you already tried HatsanUSA direct to see about a replacement, they're about $45 plus shipping.

Yep, it can be converted to a springer, just tell Hatsan you need the end cap, spring guide and spring for a Hatsan 135 springer. I said end cap because there's a difference between the end caps for a spring vs gas ram gun so you need the one made for the spring version. Of course that also hinges on if they have any but they should.

Thanks for that info on the converaion, Steve p-52.  Good to know it is possible.  Still waiting to hear back from Hatson.  I will update when/if.

Thanks manualf150. I have seen those on Ebay but unfortunately they do not work with the vortex version as the end cap is different on the type 2. They do mention that in the fine print.

Update:  hatsan USA responded and letme order both the type 2 piston and the parts needed to convert to a springer if the new  piston ever fails.  Thanks for you help all.  I also was sent a link with all the exploded diagrams of all theirairrifles with partnumbers.  I will post thel link later as I know it will help outothere.
