Looking for a .30 mold for AAA Evol

Hey guys, I am wanting to cast for the AAA Evol .30 that I just bought from Bill. I can get the pellet mold, but would rather have a slug mold.

I know that NSA makes some great slugs for it, but I would like to be able to cast my own.

Doesn't look like there are a lot of choices out there. Nick told me that his 49 and 55 grain work the best.

NOE seems to only have the pellet mold or a 68 grain bt that drops a 62 grain in hp form.

Accurate has a couple more options, they have  62 grain bt but no hp option. Was thinking maybe I could get that one and have a pin made for it.

The other option I was leaning toward is their 49 grain solid #30-049AM.

Accurate also has several epug style molds in various weight grain.

Was hoping Bob or someone with some technical expertise could suggest which mold might be best to try? AAA lists the barrel in the Evol .30 as being 18" and a 1 in 42 twist.

I tried the 46 grain .30 epug mold that I have and it shoots like a shotgun, won’t group. I tried them at .299 and .30 for sizing.

Have some NSA 49 grain on the way.

Would still like a mold of my own though.

I am using the NOE .30 pellet mold for my Impact while seeking a slug mold.  The pellets hit hard at 85 FPE and spread nicely on steel with the average weight being around 47 grain.  With the 1:42 twist you mentioned, these pellets should work well.  I am very happy with this pellet mold.
