Nielsen 22 Cal Slugs for a Co2 Gun ?

Been doing lots of shooting with my Talon Co2 gun. Being it is Co2 there is only so much speed I can get so I must use the Ballistic Coefficient of the projectile to help me down range.

So when hunting I'm primarily using 18.13gr JSB Jumbo Heavies, but I wonder how Nielsen's 17.5gr 22 cal slugs would be ? They have a BC of ~.057 according to Hard Air Magazine. Now I'm getting about 620+fps when the temp is in the low 70's. If I can get the same with Nielsen's slugs, down range performance would be real nice.

What I'm looking for is ~12fpe at 50 yards ?, don't know if I can do it or not, I would love something like this as it would give me more insurance for clean kills on pigeons even at 40 yards. The Pigeons I have locally are pretty big and tough as heck ----- What are your thoughts on this ? My muzzle energy would probably be in the 15+fpe range, which is pretty high for a Co2 gun and what I'm getting now with JSB JH 18.13gr pellets on a 70 degree day

 Worth a try I have shot them out of my 2260 slower than that and they did do well down range, compared to lighter pellets.

My 1322 shoots them well after 5 pumps. Not sure on the FPS, but I know it's slow.

Every gun is different. Only way to tell is to try.

Worst case scenario, sell them back on here. People will buy'em.
