I bought a few 250 round tins a while back. They were $2.49 per tin. I was cautiously optimistic when I bought them. So far I have tested them in 2 Nitro Piston rifles and a pump pistol. These pellets and accuracy should not be used in the same sentence. They are all over the place. Most of them will not hit in a 12” circle at 15 yards. Definitely a waste of $2.49 per tin.

Sounds like your gun REALLY doesn’t like those. My X10 gets about a 2-2.5” group with them at 25yrds, not the best, but I already know it loves JSB’s and CPHP’s.
My son’s 2100 classic doesn’t do too bad with them though, about a 1.5” group and 25yrds, which is good enough for plinking cans.
I had an Hw30s that did 3” groups with JSB 7.33’s. Rifles are just picky that way.

My gun not liking these pellets is an understatement. The CPHP pellets, Crosman pointed pellets, Crosman Destroyers and Winchester round nose pellets all shoot well out of my gun. The CPHP pellets normally shoot a nickel sized group at 30 yards. Rarely do I get a flier with them. The other 3 I get about a 1.5” group at 30 yards. Daisy P M pointed, I could almost throw them as accurate as my gun shoots them.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding.
Are these ones the clean silver pellets or the gray rough cut ones?
The rough cut Daisy pellets have never worked in anything I’ve ever had. The best thing to do with a
Tin of them was melt it into better pellets

They are the clean silver ones. The ones I have are super smooth. Really good looking pellets but looks are deceiving through my guns.

Gotcha. I was really hoping they would be super accurate in my guns. They had what looked to be good consistency as far as visible defects.
All in all they are very nice looking and I have to wonder if an 880 or an 853 might shoot them better. After I get some more overtime I might get a CMP rifle and try them out in that.
I wouldn’t throw them away or anything, ya never know, they might work in a new purchase.

I also had high hopes that they would work good in my rifles (both nitro pistons). They may be more accurate in rifles that shoot at a lower fps. Might be worth checking to see if they shoot well on a pumper.

I have yet to have them work past 10 yards in any of my rifles at any speed and that is in .177 and .22... that is a small fleet of 13xx carbines two Daisy 953(one is 1985 L.W. barrel other is 2004 and Daisy barrel) and two different Crosman 2100s...

I use them to break in a gun, then they sit until a new gun needs to be broken in. I had one and only the one tin that held good groups, all the rest are just used to wear in piston seals.

I have used the Daisy Pointed and the Beeman Pointed with good success in my Daisy 880 pump guns, The Daisy are the newer shinny pellets. Tested them a few years ago and was very, very happy with their accuracy.
You must make sure these are the newer Daisy pellets, as the others were pure C#@p.

I have a bunch of them, they work real well in lower power air guns that don't have a lot of velocity I have found. Being only 7.2 grains they are pretty light to be using in a Nitro piston or high velocity gun. they destabilize I have found at the higher velocities. Mine work good in my 13xx pistols and my 880's and my 2240 converted to .177 using the stock internals and longer barrel. Just my observations on them. I like them for shooting sub 20 yards and have found them accurate enough for plinking and light pesting.

Those are the only pellets available in the remote area where I live. I tried a tin of the .177 & those were not worth loading.

I'm no expert but pointed pellets for me work well in guns under like 600 fps like my old springer or my co2 pistol I guess we're like 450 guns they shot fine. With say 800 + fps like my mag springer forget about it. Even the ruger pointed were sad shooters over 20 yards.
That crosman co2 revolver (38t) I got shot them the best in pistol range.
Anyway for me high volicity and pointed just did not mix.
