The focus lever seems to be working very well; you are on them much faster..!

Have you got the Pard mounted with the Picatinny Adapter(s) in this Video..?

@Rupert.  Thanks. Yes it is much easier now to use that little handle to zoom in and out.  Only issue I would have is the strength of the piece attached to the ring.  I have been very careful using and storing the gun so I don't catch it on anything, but soon or later the accident will happen, lol.  I might try other option I found on the UK forum where they mount a cylinder over the zoom ring and turn the adjustment.  I might try that method and see if I like it better or not.  Otherwise, I can just epoxy the joint with the small lever that I made.

Yes I have mounted that low profile adapter and it fits perfectly.  However, now I have a minor issue with the recording footages where the cross hair does not line up with the bullseye.  I have zeroed the gun at my 25 yards, everything looks perfect thru the eyepiece and POI is at the bullseye.  But during playback on editing, the cross hair was high and to the left.  It looks as if I was doing a hold over for elevation and windage to shoot my 25 yards zero.  No idea what this happened, maybe I need to remove the shims or maybe this is just a software issue.  I will need to post on the forum and see if anyone encounter the same problem I did.

Great video, nice airgun and gear, yes I saw the issue with your POI recordings, I was wondering at what distance you were shooting from that you needed holdover, that last one was moving slow cause he was too overweight. keep them videos coming!

Rodent hunting has got to be among the more challenging pesting ventures, not only are they always moving but many times they present themselves in split second situations where one must be ready get on target and fire before the little buggers skedaddle away.

I really miss that, used to go on many nighttime forays at permissions we used to have back in Hawaii.

So I just live vicariously through your shoots, need to see more!

@Mackado. Thanks. I will need to sort out the POI recording issue and see if that improves. Too many rats need to be tagged, lol.

@mrbulk.  Yes it is quite challenging to spot them and shoot them quickly.  Many lost opportunity indeed.  I enjoy shooting starlings at longer distances, but seeing rats get drilled is very satisfying.  Good practice either way.

Hey Plink just an idea, but when we used to do it in Hawaii we used modified Crosman 600s (all souped with long barrels and bulkfill CO2 to reach 600-650 fps with red dots and laser pointers) and the follow up capability was tremendous. Maybe consider a special semiauto ratting rig if you'll be doing this often? SAM?
