The latest ones I have seen are aluminum.... not that it's a problem, they work perfectly.... I mean they use an aluminum valve in the Disco on HPA!....

My newer AM77 (2100) and 1377 all have aluminum valves. So at one point Crosman switched over...

I had read about Benjamins being aluminum but nothing about the Crosmans. So thought maybe they had not changed as of yet.
Just had me wonder what other problems will crop-up besides the corrosion.Sometimes I hate change.lol

I think all of Crosman's valves are aluminum now. Aluminum is cheaper than brass now. Maybe someday prices will go back. Only way to get brass is to look for an older model of your gun and salvage the valve or find someone to turn one on a lathe.
Like Tim MacMurray says, keep them aluminum valves lubed. I lost the original valve on my 392 to corrosion so I'm always oiling my pumpers now. So far I don't need to keep kitty litter under them to catch drips though!
