Tightening bases and rings is normal, all my springers did that initially. They eventually stay tight. Doesn't take long.

Recieved the scope, BKL dropper base, and rings, and the pellets today!
I really like the BKL one piece base and rings.
Got the scope mounted in short order and will try some new pellets out later tonight, though it’s still doing well with the piranah’s.
Have to work tommorrow, but should be ready for a field trip with it Sunday afternoon.
Still working on sending pics from my e-mail by phone... may just use a hosting site.

Wow,
Crosman domes 10.5 gr. Load easy and shoot great out of this rifle! Impact was about 1/2” left and a 1/2” low from the crosman piranah’s.
I got some 3 shot groups less than 1/4” c/c at 20 yds. benched, but 5 shots ran 1/4 to 3/8”.
Also got some 1/2” groups at the same range, but could tell that’s me not paying enough attention to follow through after the shot.
Follow through is crucial with any gun when shooting, but evidently doubly important with a springer... especially one with a long stroke such as the 350.
This rifle can out shoot me for sure. According to the groups at 20 yds., this rifle should be 1/2” capable at 50 yds., but I doubt if my “ springer technique” is capable of it at this point.
Can’t wait to try it though.
I’ll be tickled with it if I can keep them in an inch at that range for now from a bench.
I’ve got some h&n’s 10.65 gr. to try also, but I don’t think I need to look any further than the crosman domes really.
I doubt I can shoot any pellet better than what i’m doing now at this point. Need a lot more trigger time before I can say i’m a springer shooter.
I certainly see what all the hoopla about shooting springers is about now though... this is the most fun i’ve had with Any airgun!
I’m officially hooked!

That's some exciting news ! Very happy to hear how things are working out so far. Ya the follow through on the trigger is critical, squeeze straight back and keep squeezing the trigger back well after the shot goes off. Always a double bonus to gave a rifle that likes Crosmans, if you hunt. The harder lead really hits game harder.

Well, no field trip with it yet. lol, I said the D350 did’nt seem to have the hard recoil i’ve read of so much, or the weight of the rifle must soak most of it up.
It seems my scope base and rings don’t agree
....
I put everything together without locktite and have been chasing tightening screws ever since.
I’ll take it all off and go back with locktite this time.
Actually, I finally got the base tight after several shooting sessions and retightening, but the rings keep giving and the scope moved back about 1/8”. The base actually has’nt moved, but I did get just a bit of one or two screws very slightly loosening... seems solid now, but i’m Going to locktite it too this time.
Oh well, lesson learned

I've had a Diana 350 Panther .22 (still a 350 Magnum, just with a synthetic stock) for a handful of years now and although I haven't shot it a great deal, what little I have shot it, I've really enjoyed. It has the T06 trigger unit (it's laser etched onto the cylinder) and feels fantastic to me. Personally, I think the .22 cal is a better bet for the 350 because with its power level, it makes a lot of sense to have .22 over the .177. In my opinion only, I think it's just time to go up to the next calibre at these velocities. In reality though, it's just personal preference. One thing you will definitely have in .177 though, is a very flat shooting trajectory, that's for real..
For the .177 calibre, I have a Diana 34 Premium, also with a T06 trigger. It's yielding about 15 +/- ft-lb and although I can't remember which pellet I was going to settle on (JSB Exact I think @ 8.4 gr), I chrony'd it at approx 900 - 920 fps. There's only one word needed to describe this rifle - Beautiful...!!!

GunnerAl,
Your right about the 350 being more efficient in 22.
I just wanted the 177 for the bit flatter trajectory you touched on for woods type squirrel hunting. Well, that and I have a 392 Benji on the way back from Mac1 after receiving the steroid treatment, so I already have a very powerful 22 coming to me.
Alas, the scope rail has come loose on my 350, so it’s going back to Numrich for replacement
.
Hope I get one back as accurate as this one was before the rail worked loose.
