Hey all,

I just had 2 tins of 500 delivered and they are both sized at 4.50.  These are the best pellets in my HW50S, best deal I’ve seen at $7.99.

Neither pellet will be in stock for a little while, but that's fine by me.  They actually had. 22 Terminators for the same price for a few day , but that deal seems to be off.

Do I follow younif I say the tin sticker clearly indicates 4.50? My D48 loves FTT 4.50 but not 4.51 or 4.52.

ya what does the sticker on the back say?  ive used 4.2mm head ftt with great results i fear 4.50 would be too small?

I've purchased several items on Amazon in the past month that have had similar predicted in stock dates that arrived days or even weeks earlier than promised, so we might get lucky.

Their packaging is among the worst I’ve seen and that’s really saying something.  Remarkably though H&N has always made it through unscathed.  I won’t buy JSB from them again though.  All 3 orders I tried were damaged.

Pellets arrived today... Tin Damaged with a massive dent. Just thrown into a massive 12x18 shipping envelope. Opened it up to see if the pellets themselves were ok. Saw plenty of dented skirts so its on the way back and hoping the replacement fairs better.

Dan, there is a reason many of us don't buy pellets from Amazon, Walmart, Midway USA and some others and you just discovered that reason.

I don't know why they don't wise-up!!!

I won't purchase pellets from Amazon anymore... unless I hear they have improved their packaging!!!

I'd rather spend my time shooting vs. sorting...

On top of the damaged pellets arriving, and having to return them which I did by dropping it off at UPS and getting a receipt. My UPS return tracking is now claiming UPS has not received the item and is waiting for me to drop it off. I've got my receipt at least, and after going to UPS, they said just hold onto that receipt as your validation. But what a mess over a tin of pellets.

Bummer on shipping. My two tins of 4.50 were in an envelope but were dent free? Lucky I guess.

Regarding 4.50 vs 4.52
Accuracy is same to 20 yards for me
The 4.52’s do shoot about 15 to 20 FPS faster in my 11.5 ft pound HW50S

Got my two tins of Barracuda Hunters in today.  One tin was tented, but the pellets didn't seem damaged.   They shot really well out of my Urban and hit hard.  I'll be using these for squirrel hunting going forward. 

The two tins of .177 Field Target Trophies I ordered are set to be delivered Monday.  Hopefully they work out as well as the others.
