.195 bolt in a .177?

So I was going through my project guns as they are harder to find up here and started tinkering with a crosman model 70.
After trying to recrown 3 times and still having a tight group the size of a dinner plate I gave up on that barrel.
While thinking about a caliber switch I notice the bolt is big. When I measured I got .195 just behind the probe and before the oring. Feed ramps can literally take a 22!
So now I’m curious..
I tried the bolt in a marauder barrel with oring. I’m thinking I can adjust headspace so the 2 o rings are tight against each other.
I know what happens when you double gasket a oil filter on a engine but am still curious to know if this will work to seal the bolt? What do y’all think? It’s co2 so not practical to go above 1800psi

If radial clearance is excessive an o-ring generally with blow out threw the gap. Harder durometer material can help, but even then a crutch to incorrect sizing specs.
