As I had mentioned in another post, the regulator kit ( from PA, for the Stormrider ) I received and installed showed a tremendous amount of creep. I set it to 125bar and it would climb to 190bar in less than 15min.With the kit comes a set of O-rings, so I replaced the original. Got the same results. When I looked at the O-ring I removed, I realized that the O-ring that seals the reg to the pressure tube is 70 duro and is mounted in front of the plenum. What was happening is that the higher pressure air in the tube was passing by the O-ring, filling the plenum and causing the rise in pressure on the gauge.I replaced the 70 duro O-ring with the same sized ring in 90 duro and it solved the problem. I filled the gun to 200bar and experienced absolutely no creep after 24hrs.Just thought I'd pass that along, in case anyone else runs into this issue.
WilliamI'm in the motorcycle biz, and am currently slammed with work. Hopefully I'll have a chance to post a string this weekend. But.... I've modded the rifle a bit: transfer port, valve and barrel port have all been opened up, and I'm messing around with different length/strengths of springs. Initial reg setting is 125bar, but I have a feeling I'll be dropping that to 120bar. Looking to hit the 22-25ftlbs range, with a flat shot count of 14 to 20. We'll see...So my numbers are going to be quite different from a stock Stormrider. As for ammo, the rifle really likes the AA 16's, JSB 15.89's and am waiting for a tin of the new Hades to arrive. Hopefully she'll enjoy those also.
