AS392 in Oklahoma

I love my AS392 HPA conversion. It has been a fun project and satisfying to have something fairly unique. I don't see them come up for sale often. Below is a link to one in an Oklahoma pawn shop and it looks to be pristine. Hopefully this is okay to post here.

I retrofitted mine with a custom drop block that mates to a stainless steel NPT to tank adapter. The valve received machine work to add volume. The trigger is now 2-stage and was a big improvement. The hammer spring was changed out for a shorter one with some free flight and is actually softer than the OEM and tuned to appropriately 3% under peak velocity. The bottle is a ninja and regulated to 1100 psi. The hammer and poppet are still OEM.  I recently added a printed air stripper of sorts that uses air space in the lower tube. It shoots 14 gr pellets at 700fps and gets over 100 shots on a fill. It is a bit ugly, but I like it.

Dave, A machinist friend made it for me to a drawing that I generated and included below. I used a long set screw installed into the valve as a stud and then a nut as this scheme doesn't allow for a bolt.

Edit: I should have mentioned that some profiling of the drop block and some clearancing work on the stock was required. The interference was probably on the order of 1/4" to start.

Thanks for the plans I might try this. The AS392 is nice gun and it was my first propper airgun. Bought it from Chuck at Precision Airgun Sales in Clevelend after he talked me out of scoping a Winchester 1000x I had, was a good choice.
