Beeman P-17 with .22 barrel

I love my P17 but would rather it shoot .22 instead of .177.  From what I understand it's a simple barrel swap to convert it to .22 or .20.  As I don't have any other .20's I'll discount that and strive towards .22.  It appears I can order a barrel from here, although they are out of stock:

Has anybody ordered from that website before?   Does anybody know of any other places I can order this part from?   
 
It would appear getting close to 6 fpe is possible in .22 based on this page:

Is it really as simple as just swapping the barrel out?  Who here as done this already and what was your results?   I haven't had my chrony set up lately to see what my existing P17 does, but assuming top performance, based on your experience what is the best I should expect?

Oops, that 2nd link was related to the HW45/P1 not HW40/P3.
