First time shooting my cast wad cutters with my Airmax Master Blaster

I managed to do some pesting this morning using my co2 Master Blaster and I was impressed with the accuracy doing about 11fpe shooting 20 yards
I managed to get a red squirrel, starling and hosp with it.

Those are sharp looking WC, have you stretched them out past 20 yds ?

That is the next 2 molds I am getting, 217 and 250 cals.
IF I can get any accuracy at around 40 yds,
there is going to be some Starling/Hosp smack'in going on..LoL

I would believe that a 25 cal WC should put down a Starling..............

650fps would be ideal with either one, but you could probably get close to the 700's with decent accauracy . . maybe   Probably depends on the rifle shooting it.  I'll bet that if I turned my 702 way down starting at a 1500-1600psi fill I could probably get a long decent string with wad cutters.

I was also thinking about the power adjuster knob,
Start at 1 and work up until everything is perfect.

I am waiting on the metric taps/dies I need for making a more solid adjustment screw/plate,
for the 705's, I have. 
The slop/play will not work for good adjustments as it made from PLASTIC?
I'll make mine from alum with tight threads etc.

I am not sure about the adjustment screw/plate in the 25 cal, that's next...................

I think, I just stick to thump'in them for now,

he is pretty good at sneak'in them in and hiding them in his bed,
when the lites go out at bedtime, he has a midnite snack and throws the feathers/feet on the floor,
to be found the next morning.......

Lots of folks around here speak of eating Robin breasts.... I just don't remember ever being that hungry.
Heck, I won't even eat chicken unless it's dark meat crispy fried.

Any time I'm sure that I'm going to be shooting in excess of 20 yards I'll use either a meplat or slug it just depends how far and how much power I want.  As some of you know I really love using the WC's in my Crosman 150, they're great shooting out of that gun for doing some plinking.

 I just cast up a bunch of the .25 cal. wadcutters, and a few of the .22.
did some testing with mt Artemis PP 800 .25 Shots over the crono were in the 535 advj. nice wadcutter holes in tight groups.
 
 Easiest casting of pellets from these molds, as easy as slugs IMO

What mixture are you using, and what is the Dia as cast and their weight?.
That mold is my next funds to be spent and the 22 WC also.................

 .25 Weight is running 22.5 ish with pure lead, I cast a few in pure tin they come out 14.5 gr. I didn't get any measurements due to dead caliper battery, but they feed smooth with what feels like the right resistance. I have not but cast a few 2 cavity cast of the .22 and have not investigated further than mold quality, that is great.
