First post so forgive me if it’s in the wrong place. I haven’t found a forum yet that I consider user friendly. It’s not the forums fault it’s mine, I’m old😞
Just got into the sport. Have a Benjamin marauder on the way. I don’t thinks it’s wise for me to buy tanks for air when I can buy a compressor for around 700 or so bucks.
Has anyone had experience with the newer Hansen dual power? Also thoughts on the Nomad2
Would the compressor come with the hookups I need or would that be separate? Please instruct on what I need to have all parts I will need to get air in the rifle.
Thanks

Welcome Glenn...
You were very close... I'll move the post to the "Support equipment "gate.
Lots of information here that will help you decide.
You've already stated your budget so the next question might be... Do you plan on filling tanks or guns directly?
Welcome to the GTA

Well, unfortunately I am at work right now and our company has software that prohibits access to certain sites. But, if you look at the scrolling banners at the top of the page you will see AirgunArcheryFun. Wes is a member here and he has, or very shortly will have, the Xisico compact compressor in stock. This may be an option for you. Like I said.... this gate has a ton of information in it. And it won't be long until others will chime in with their opinions as well.
Good luck.

Bill that would definitely be a good option IMO for anyone that wants to fill guns directly, that compressor I'll bet will be very reliable for something like that also. Flying Dragon Air Rifles will soon have them available as well, whether or not the oil or grease I really couldn't tell ya but either one would more than likely be a great deal from FDAR.

Hi Glenn, welcome to the GTA. I own the AV Nomad ll compressor and very pleased with it. I bought over a year and half ago for about $650 from Pyramid Air. It comes with everything you need to fill your air gun and stores in a nice carrying case so you don't loose anything. It weighs about 20lbs. It runs on 110v or 12v, all the cables come with it. It has auto shut off, water separator, secondary inline air filter, fill hose, and spare parts for the compressor. The carrying case was a big selling point for me, everything stays together in one place. No more hunting for air fills, lugging scuba tanks around, or even dealing with a hand pump (not an option with me). I several guns that I now can fill to 4300psi with no problems.

Thanks for the input. So I decided to wait until Wes gets some of the xisico compressors and then I will order from him.
Thanks

Did you consider buying a hand pump for $51.99?

I’m lightweight. Didn’t think I could handle the workout associated with pumping.
