Multi Shot Breech

Evening all,

Has anyone machined one? I have done a few single shotters, however I dont have a breech to copy, what would be your angle, i think a self indexing would be the way to go, would any of you kind gentle men have something to copy? I think a maruder mag would be the way to go.

I have not machined one but I have been designing around them. This is what I measured:


For Marauder/Armada/Gauntlet .177 or .22 magazines. The .946" dimension is not critical. That's what my Armada measured but it can vary a lot and still work. Other dimensions should probably be about +/- .01"

Awesome, thank you, I'm assume you would need a machined in stop to, can I ask, why is the probe face drawn conical.

The MRod magazines locate on the barrel stub, no separate stop is requires....

The end of the barrel/thimble (shown in green) acts as the magazine stop/detent. That's not the probe face , it's the transition from 0.22 caliber to sliding surface (side screw hole and probe face are not shown in my drawing)

I didn't see you mention a caliber.  Here are a few things to know when working with Marauder and Gauntlet magazines.  177 and .22 Marauder and Gauntlet magazines are interchangeable. 

IF you are going .25, Marauder and Gauntlet magazines are thicker, allowing longer pellets.  However Gauntlet maintains the 7/16" barrel slot on the magazine whereas Marauder is 1/2"
