Thank you all. Kind words go a long ways at times like this. Another GTA shooter, Steveoh, joined me for the hunt. A big thanks to him for the pictures. He's a great friend and a better ambassador for airgunning. 

The last couple of years I've been turkey hunting with the .308 Texan, but it's a beast to pack around. However, I've got it dialed in and once a turkey is inside of 200 yards it's game over. Due to circumstances I wasn't able to get a confident sight-in session with the Texan so I opted to use the Raptor .30. It's waaay easier to carry, has an 8 shot magazine, and is just as deadly at sub-75 yards (confidence-wise for me anyway)

I still love to snipe birds at long range, but the Raptor fills a wonderful niche for power and portability.

Ironically my Raptor is a .22 and a .25 as well. I have barrels for .177, .22, .25, and .30 caliber. Here is a pic below doing some Eurasian dove pesting at a local dairy with it set up as a .22 and the Donnyfl Tatsu (I use a Tanto on the .30).
