Just got these delivered today

UPS delivered a Large box and there were 2 boxes inside, opened up and there were 2 Korean made Big Bore guns
I opened the first box and there was a beautiful Career 50 Dragon side lever action rifle, it has a few small scratches and a lot of leaks
the next box was a beautiful Sam Yang Big Bore 909 44 45cal, it to has leaks but it was in great condition,
I went ahead and took apart the 50 cal and found some bad O-rings and a worn Poppet, I replaced all the O-rings and re-surfaced the poppet on the Lathe, reassembled it and leak tested, good to go...
next I took the 45 cal apart, it had bad O-rings at the upper cylinder end extension, I went ahead and replaced all the O-rings, the poppet was fine, so I reassembled it and leak tested and it's good to go too.....
repaired both guns in 3 hours, they're ready to take out on Sunday and test shoot them, waiting on some round balls for the 50 cal, hope they get here before Sunday....
not bad for a great deal...

Very nice! I had a dragon slayer that I sent to will .. did a great job on it. I really miss it and am watching for another. Looking forward to your shooting experience with these two.

you must have seen them too, I jumped on them when I seen them listed, easy fixes and rebuild, had all the O-rings in my 6 different O-ring kits, and it's a good thing I got a lathe, I knew it would come in handy .

I'm wondering how old the Dragon .50 is, it's doesn't say Dragon Slayer on it, just Career 50 Dragon, is there a way to tell the age of this gun? I'm assuming it's got to be about 10-15 years old,
I'm going to shoot it on Sunday if my ammo comes in on time, I'm sure it will have a good kick to it like the Texan, and it will probably be very loud too.....

Nice set of big bores ... If you hunted those would be great for dear size game for sure, if you don't hunt they are great for smashing big cans ;-  )

they'll get hunted with for sure, got lots of Coyotes up at the Range coming around at Dusk, and we have a couple big cans out there to shoot too...

LOL big cans...😂! A .50. cal round ball will knock the bejeebers out of a yote! LOL! I really hope you get that on video!

went to the range yesterday and test fired the 909 45 and the Dragon slayer 50, these gun are not as loud as I thought they would be, the 909 was like a 22 mag and the Dragon slayer was quieter, sounded more like a pop in a funnel..... , kinda funny, but both had plenty of power, I didn't have the chrony with me, I forgot it, Duh... I almost forgot the fill probe.... lucky it was on the SCBA tank whip, both guns are very accurate with round balls, the 909 is also accurate with 250grn .452 slugs I had for the Long colt reloads, I tried NSA Slugs in the dragon slayer, they were also very accurate, these guns will easily take down a deer or a pig with great accuracy and easy wielding, they seen like carbines quite light too, especially the 909, it must weight about 6 lbs, the dragon slayer was not too bad, about 8 lbs, but well balanced too, we shot about 80 rounds out of each gun and there was no problems at all, very fun to shoot.
