"Oh NO" my HW100 has a leak......

Yes the HW100 had a leak, the leak was at the fill valve on the end of the cylinder, found it with my Ultra sonic leak detector in like about 1-1/2 seconds, removed the cylinder and de-gassed it, removed the gauge end of the cylinder and took apart the one way valve, the stock seal is a brass rubber donut on the end of a stem and spring, I found an O-ring in my O-ring kit that's the same size, 006/P3 size, or the smallest one in the kit, had a little concern that it didn't have the brass center to it but I went ahead and installed it, lubed and installed re-assembled cylinder and test filled to 2800 psi, checked with leak detector, no leaking, after 2 hrs it's still at 2800 psi, looks like it will work, ready for tonight at the Permission.

Harbor freight O-ring kit, too the rescue......

Thanks Randall, got 2 last night, it got cold... 46* last night, the Rats didn't like it and went to bed early..... good thing I always keep a heavy jacket in the truck just incase...

Harbor Freight o rings I'll use in a pinch however I've been ordering better ones from the o ring store for my needs.

Nice fix, fast and efficient. I have the HF SAE o-ring kit and will also get the metric. There's NOTHING WRONG with HF o-rings.

The problem with the Harbour freight metric kits is that they are SAE orings with the metric conversion written on them and not actual metric measurements of cross section or diameter. The actual quality of the orings is pretty good.

yeah, I found that out several years ago, but they are close enough to work, glad I had them, they don't list the seal that I needed on any parts list and I couldn't find it online, so I'm glad this O-ring worked..

I bought both the 1mm and 1.5mm cross section kits from the oring store for exactly that reason. As most Airguns are metric it seemed like a logical choice to have the proper sized stuff. I should be good for about three lifetimes of reseals now.

Yeah, I caught that once I got the Metric set homme and measured them. GRRRRRR!!! So now two sets of sae o rings in different marded boxes. Double GRRRR!!!

I like dealing with "The O Rings Store" because I can find pretty much any size that I need from them.  A good example would be the o ring that goes to the fill port on a Sentry, I had been having problems with, I called Mike M.@FDAR and he told me the size to use in Buna N, I ordered a bunch and they're a perfect fit compared to the ones that came with it for replacement.  I've been shooting it a lot since and really noticed how much nicer it fills and everything since.  I'll eventually replace two others that need them as well.  Besides that I had used up the one's that came with my other two Sentry's and they didn't hold up either but the Buna N's seem to be just right.
