I was given a BSA Mercury break barrel .22 cal along with the .177 cal. barrel. Does anyone have any idea what these BSA's are worth? It's a fun gun to shoot. About 600 fps with JSB RS .22 pellets. Don't have any idea of velocity in .177 as I really don't care for the .177. Didn't have the open sights when I got the gun, so Just use a scope. Can't see open sight very well anyway.

I cannot say that they are rare in the USA, but they are not too commonly seen. Just because an airgun
is uncommon doesn't mean that is worth a lot. (I realize this is a non answer; sorry 'bout that :-) )
A web search should yield quite a bit of info, there is a Wikipedia page on the Mercury:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BSA_Mercury_Air_Rifle
Your gun probably has an extra wide 14mm scope mounting dovetail. Most ring sets will mount the scope off center.
I use (discontinued) vertically split Bushnell BSN 76-3022 rings on my BSA's.
It appears that Quik Site makes similar rings, use KSN-T22 rings if your scope grooves are cut directly into the receiver:
https://www.kwiksitecorp.com/product/non-see-thru-grooved-receiver-mount/
Use Kwiksite KST-90 rings if your gun has a raised "maxigrip" scope rail.
https://www.kwiksitecorp.com/product-category/grooved-receivers/?_product_tags=non-see-thru
Redfield makes or made similar rings.
I have owned a Mercury S Challenger since 1991.....they're nice guns.
