Well, mine is not made out of steel as mentioned, but it will stop a 300 FPE + Slayer at near P-B-R all day long. I have never had a slug to punch through the first tote and into the steel plates of the second tote I installed for a backup. It is a quiet slug trap unlike the steel ones, which I really like. It is heavy, but I use a dolly to move it around. Also, a pulley system when needing to lift it up on a table for indoor use. One day I'll reclaim the lead via a water bucket/trough.https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=152077.msg155685378#msg155685378
Made these a while back. 3/16" steel plate, the snail is auger tube cut with a zip disc...close to 3/16" wall. Have been used with .22LR and a .45 Sam Yang without issue. Spent lead drops out the bottom onto a dollar store cookie sheet for collection.Al
