titan scope mounting question.

sorry for the lame post again, but its not what you think! I now have a titan, and NPXL(which i love) and a few pumpers with a handfull of mounts and rings. My question is,... "i want to convert my titan dovetail mounts to weaver/picatiny mounts; whats the best and most cost effective way to do this?" also, after the conversion, I want to use my old stock  XL scope. Will that CP 3-9x40 scope and medium mount be sitting WAY too high to use on my titan with the adapter?? Im pretty much looking for a suggestion on a scope mount and a set of rings that will fit the gun well. Maybe some of you titan owners/shooters could chime in? I am thinking about this one by barska.


 
i dont want to break the bank, and this puppy is only 20 bucks, plus i won't have to buy another set of rings.  What do you guys use?

brewerja i have a mount similar to that i think mine is a utg got it from airgundepot i have the short weaver mounts on my titan with a 4-16-40 cp on one of them it works ok i dont use the lense caps but i think thay would work the mount in the pic has 2 more screws than mine

I used a BLK adapter on my Titan GP. I have a Center Point 4-16x40mm IR AO scope mounted in the rings that came with the scope. They are medium height I believe. I also have a sunshade attached and I am able to cock it with no clearance problems.Hope this helps.

cool, so it looks like i can use this barska mount and re-use my low mount weaver rings from an old 4x32 scope i had on a .22 rimfire. thanks for the input dudes! as always, its much appreciated. This is the only place i can pick peoples brain on thoughts and opinions as well as get an honest product review with both the good and the bad, and how to fix the bad. I love you guys.

I put a UTG 11mm to Picatinny riser rail on my Benji titan. I used the Weaver rings that came with my CP 4-16X40AO ill mil-dot scope ( I believe they're about 1" high). The scope still sits a tad low for my tastes. The first time I ever used a scope was on my Whisper so that's the height I'm used to and it could be wrong.

just use a one piece airgun mount skip the adapter more stuff to wiggle loose. I have found the Leapers one piece works well get the high one or thr low if you use a small scope (32OBJ)

See my  "Titan GP Upgrade with Weaver Rails" a few post below regarding replacing the compression tube and using UTG medium rings with the CP 3x9x40 scope.

Try a BKL mount for the 3/8" dovetail.
You won't go wrong.
And you won't have a combo mount.
