December 5th and 6th hunts at the state land

On the 5th the weather was pretty decent but yesterday it was pretty darned windy but I didn't get skunk like I thought I was.  I was actually heading back to my truck when I heard a red squirrel chattering so I stealthily stalked over in the area where I'd actually spotted it running around from quite a distance and managed to get it.

Thanks for the great replies everyone !!! I didn't go today because I had some other stuff going on, it would have been a perfect day, it wasn't sunny but really calm and above freezing.  Tomorrow I might go for a little while but probably not long because it's going to be windy.
