Luxfer 3000 psi aluminum bottle thread size

It appears to be cga-347 but it’s a bit thick internally so I may be wrong. Not sure about the gauge port.

I have the gauge its 1/8" npt

looks like its an NPT size.. maybe 3/4 or 3/8.. anyway it looks tapered. id check some of your plumbing fittings.a digital calipers could tell you pretty quickly the exact size.

ur right.. 3/4 is 14 pitch.. 3/8 npt is 18 ..

measuring the thread specs ( crest to crest and major diameter ) would solve the riddle

Just tried my cga347.
Cga347 is a lil bit smaller and diffrent thread per inch

sounds like 7/8-16 or 7/8-14 ( which was common at some point

the 7/8th threads had some association with the advent of 3500 psi tanks , i did a bit of reading

it should be 14 pitch , not 16, that would be odd.. put the calipers on 2 crests, the distance should be .071

Without my thread gauge I counted 8 threads in a 1/2" section.
I'll get the thread gauge tommorow
