Can someone turn my QB78 tube into a a 1 cart tube?

Hey All,

I finished my other projects, and now I want to make a small rifle for my nephew using the QB79 stock and cutting down and rethreading the QB78 tube to use just one Co2 cart. Please let me know if it is possible, and how much $.

Sounds like you are set on shortening the tube.   But you can use the rifle with one "live" and one "expended" cartridge in the tube (As you may already know).

I would use the expended cartridge at the end and keep the tube the way it is in order to allow it to “grow” with him. As he gets older start using two cartridges. If you’re bent on shortening it make sure you grind the end cap piercing tip down so it doesn’t eat into the rear of the cartridge.
