The Vectis doesn't seem to get much love around here lol, I have one in .25 and I enjoy it! A wood stock would work fine with or without the plastic shroud. It's not a gun I even wanna try and work on tho, even the breech is plastic! with lots of tiny circlips. I saw a guy in the classified section selling a modded vectis, its same as the flash which alot of guys mod.

The poly breech might also be a factor in not tuning these for anything much higher than stock fpe.
I'm wondering if there's any aftermarket options or people open to making stocks for the Hatsan Vectis? Theres a lot of Poly on the rifle and that's fine with me too but I would be more interested in a basic wood stock like such as the Hatsan Flash Wood version. I like the lever action and so far the only lever actions are this and the sumatra(which I got years ago). I could try making one my own but I think I lack the expertise in making wood stocks so would prefer to buy. Also its probably going to sell well since a lot of people might get Vectis for the functionality while not liking the appearance. Another Thing I'm curious who has modded their Vectis in .22 or .25 to get 50+ FPE ? I saw someone post about a minor modded flash that can get 60+ FPE and those have similar internals.

It takes a little bit more than minor modding to get 60fpe out of a Flash. The highest I've seen anyone get out of one was a .25. Full tilt, it peaked around 65fpe with some heavy lead. I'm not saying they can't be a good little thumper, but it takes a bit of work. Not much in parts though The biggest problem with modding the Vectis is the lever action and plastic. If the valve/transfer/etc. are the same as the Flash, I don't technically see any reason why it couldn't be modded for more power. I will admit, the plastic breech would make me a little cautious about taking it too far. I'm sure it is a fun little gun just the same! Just looking at the stocks, I imagine a Flash wood stock could be modified to fit a Vectis, but it would take a lot of cutting on the bottom side, and into the grip for the lever. I think the deciding factor for me would if you can buy a wood stock, and if so, how much would it cost?
