Have just sold both my 880 and Crosman Charger due to a bad shoulder (I'm really old). I just
acquired a new Crosman 1077 woody CO2 rifle. Added my Simmons mag 22 scope (5 1/2 pounds total). Feels like a feather after the Charger and I no longer need all that power to kill pop cans and starlings. Have to get the Simmons sighted in. Currently is 10" low, but down the middle. It just came off the 880. Keep killing them dangerous pop cans.

Congrats on your new 1077! Sounds like it’s a fun gun to shoot.

I have almost pulled the trigger on buying the wooded version myself, I don't know if Crosman has cured the leak problems they originally had with that gun though

The Umarex/Ruger version of the 10/22 is getting very good reviews. You can rack the bolt on them, and it sticks one in the chamber and can then be fired single action. One reviewer weighed the trigget pull. Double actipn was around 9-10 pound, single sbout 3-3.5. I had a 10/77. That trigger sucked.

Trigger pull is long but duable. Just bought a new Daisy adult Red Ryder for a wall hanger. Might try to shoot it a bit though. Be a good cat chaser. No damage to cat, but probably a loud meow!

My standard Red Ryder has a horrible trigger. Very hard to pull. Anything beyond maybe 40 shots. It's time for a bandaid.
