one and done! Nice shot! Another idea: you could keep the long barrel on and load up some heavy metal. Maybe like a 34gr JSB Monster. I imagine that's gonna be one heck of an impact!

Prior to the Hades I was shooting the 18.13 grain JSB's and they would pass right through a rat, same with the 25.39 grain JSB's from the Dreamline. I don't think a rat has enough mass to slow a domed pellet enough to allow for expansion. These Hades fragment on impact (or are supposed too) and seem to make a much larger exit wound than a domed pellet. Even when I shot one with the Sumatra using a 43 grain pellet, the exit wound was the same size as the entry wound. For rats, I don't think I can do much better than the Hades, well, that is until the .25 Hades are available! Those should make an even bigger exit hole!
