I'm not familiar with the theoben rifles but I am with the Hw90. I can tell you that it has what they call an "inertia plug" set in the gas ram. If you need any more information on it pm me for my phone #. I've become very familiar with this particular rifle lately. They're not that popular so there's not a lot of reliable information out there.
I have an early HW90 that uses an aluminum dummy piston as opposed the the later steel version.Mine shows a bit of wear to the threads that the shrader valve screws into and l would like to replace it.However l haven't been able to find anyone with a spare.Does anyone know someone who has one for sale? Alternatively has anyone modified the latter steel version to fit? From what l can tell the new one should fit - the only difference is the set screw that holds the large pin that holds the dummy piston to the main tube. Thanks George
l've tried them and a few others, but none of them have any of the early dummy pistons.l'm hoping someone might know of someone who has one or someone who can confirm that the new one can be modified to fit.George
