Umarex Hammer Class Action Suit

I kind of understand preorders on CUSTOM guns but for mass production wallmart stuff, no way and no how. That's what umarex is selling, mass production plastics... and vacuuming on that also.

 Im friends with the folks at Umarex and the engineers there and they simply ran into a few issues they didnt see coming and as soon as they can resolve these issues then they will release the Hammer. My personal thoughts on it is it will never come to market at the original price point. So we will see but I am certain it wont be any time soon.

So if you had an successful class action suit, what would the remedy be?

Force the foreign manufacturers to produce rifles immediately?

Secure the rifles from an alternate universe that is enjoying their Hammer rifles on time?

Free/discounted rifles when/if they become available?

Recreational outrage... a new sport.

Force them to stop lying by making them pay for it, and make an example out of it so others will cut the &^^& out.

I understand using peorders as away to gauge the market and I think it's a great idea.  All for it.

But the lies gotta stop.  They started out with lies about velocity and power and now they are lying about the date it willbecome available. 

I won't preorder, i preordered one gun in my lifetime and I eventually cancelled it.  In hindsight it was a pretty good deal and I wouldnt be surprized if they were holding out on reordering until a few preorders got cancelled.

I'd never preorder a new gun on the market if for no other reason, than the first and second round of guns normally have bugs they have not worked out yet.

So, if there is a significant price increase, I wonder if Umarex will honor the price those that did preorder have already paid?  I guess there is always the possibility Umarex could cancel all preorders, delay it a year and then release it at the new, higher price. That would make folks real happy!  LOL!

No, they will wait until enough people that preordered cancel and release the gun at the higher price point, still honoring a few preorders that held out long enough.

I ordered a disco/pump combo once when they were giving a great deal on them and my in stock date was extended a few times so I cancelled.  Next time I saw them in stock they were regular price.  Imagine that... I wonder how many people cancelled before they decided it was good enough?

The hammer is a newcomer to the market, but other than that I think it's the same deal- hold out until most of the preorders are cancelled and then jack the priceto cover the changes that cost them more money.

In this case it may teach them a harder and more valuable lesson to not cancel your preorder

Well here we are October 13th the date that midwayUSA had as the arrival date for the hammer, and what does it say for stock availability? OVERDUE. I never preordered,  I have just been watching all the hype of the hosts on TV and YouTube telling us how great the hammer is and how much we air gunners need it's made in the USA 700 fpe. Well I for one have had it. It has been over two years they have been promoting this product. I no longer intend to watch any show or video featuring the hammer because It has been so long, even if they brought it to market I personally will not purchase the hammer! What could be the reason? Who cares at this point I have had it I will just do one one of two things spend a little more money to buy a made in the USA Texan or a little less and buy the made in South Korea Dragon Claw. Either way they are both real products. Unlike the Hammer.
