Model 35S- straight-pull stock? How'd I miss this!

Title says it all.  Hatsan snuck a model 35S springer in .177 under my nose.  Looks to be 12 FPE with a sedate 650 FPS velocity and a straight-pull walnut stock.  Smells like a perfect backyard rodent-buster.

Yes please!  I know it ain't a Beeman C-1 but I'll take it.  So- anybody have experience with one of these?

I could only find them for sale in Canada.

  That is all I see, too. It sounds similar to the "Alpha," except for the wooden stock .

I wouldn't mind the Canadian model... honestly, it could come from anywhere and I'd be thrilled.

I had tracked the gun down to a couple sporting goods stores near windsor iirc but can't find them now. the new ones with the quattro trigger were around US $130 iirc

Nice- me likey.  I wanna find one.  Need to check Mundilar and Ballistas since the usual suspects don't carry it.

Found one of the stores. did you find it anywhere else? let me know if you get one. looks like it could be a nice little rifle, i'm hesitant on another Hatsan because of some QC issues on the last couple 95's I bought and dealings with Hatsan trying to order a non critical part of the QE system for one (end cap)

I bet HatsanUSA has denied themselves a lot of sales because they are skeered of litigation or whatever their excuse is for not widely selling replacement parts.
