I have a question about a '93 397P I bought awhile back. The striker and end plug don't match the parts diagram that I've seen for this rifle. They look like the parts
for my '94 C9. Was there a transition of parts from later Racine to early Bloomfield rifles or did I get a rifle "cobbled" together from later parts? Or could the latter
years of Benjamin be just to murky to know for sure?
As a side note I took the trigger spring from the 397 ( it needs to go to Mac-1 to get the breech re-soldered to the tube) and put it in the C9. Even though it is longer
it reduced the pull from 5 1/2 to 3lbs. what a difference a year makes.

I have two 392P's and an early 397PA (with the "P" trigger) and they all have the same end cap and hammer as yours.

The first time I hit it, I missed. The second time I hit it in the same place.

Thanks Randy, I was a little confused going through crosmans parts charts on their site.
