Titan downs first nutter of the season

Well, today is opening day of squirrel season in KY, and even though the forecast was for rain and 10mph winds I had to get in the woods. Lucky for me, the weather held off long enough for me to get a short hunt in this morning.

I got into the woods about 7:00am, it was just getting good light to where I could see. I could hear squirrels cutting all around me. So I slipped in to a small stand of hickory nut trees. I saw 3 squirrels right away, but they were real flighty and didn't offer any kinda shot. I sat and waited bout 5min, and this lil feller decided that he needed another nut to cut on. He wouldn't give me a head shot, but he did offer me a perfect broadside shot of his boiler room. I brought up the Titan, and leveled the crosshairs right behind his shoulder and sent the predator on its way. I heard that all to familiar "THWACK" and he fell outta the tree hitting the ground graveyard dead! .. It started to rain so I grabbed my prize and headed for the house... I really enjoyed getting out in the woods for the first hunt of the year..

I'm really liking the Titan GP, I believe I got a good one here..

Beautiful!  did the predator exit?  i see a scuff or something behind his shoulder, i just can't tell what it is.

Thats where it entered, it went clean slick through him taking out both lungs on the way...

well congratulations, that is a fine kill!  hope your titan works out for you!  i loved mine until i broke it.  it was a very fine shooting rifle.
