Crosman 140

Will do can have it apart in the morning before 2nd shift ,looks like breech gasket 1930-012 or 1930-016 hard to find a discription for the part numbers. Didnt I read you need 30 post to submit pictures?

Ok back again, looks like I need a 4mm x 2mm square o-ring for the piston that pops off the valve when firing. The 1 that fits inside have searched all over the net with no luck.

They are called a "quad seal" and the size you need is 3/16" ID x 5/16" OD x 1/16".... You should be able to get them from an hydraulics shop....

Thanks guys the parts list I have doesn't name the parts like "quad seal" allot to learn.
It fits in the exhaust valve cap assembly 140-70.

Yes thats it and sounds like my problem with the gun. Thanks $25.00 sounds like a lot but will bid on it. The inner seal looks dried out on mine.
But I do have an o-ring the right size but it is not square,have read that it needs a square or quattro 0-ring.
Also do certain year 140's have the barrel spacer or shim that go's between the barrel and air tube? pn. 1930-010
It is missing or never was on my gun from someone attempting a tear down years ago.
Sorry I need a 140 book for dummy's. LOL

i believe you are referring to a 1400 i know they had barrel spacers

Ordered a kit from them and used the quad seal for something else. Yes it is best to call them.

Won a new quad seal cup and seal kit on e-bay tonight. Like a lot of Americans I will be layed off starting 8-31-11. Get 8 months pay in my severance package and 2 months benefits. Thats when the 140 will be a calming project I will document it best I can with photos. Thanks to all that have given advice I love this place.Been a machinist for 33 years and need a long break anyway.
