Which .22 cal you buy depends on the power of your gun.... Under ~40 FPE get the 20 gr.... over that get the 24 gr....

2 or 4 cavity depends on your budget and how fast you want to cast....

I have learned that if you are going to get into casting your own ammunition, it REALLY pays off to get the 4 hole molds!

Having said that, I am watching closely for the 4 hole 22cal magnum, and both the hunter, and magnum 25 cal molds to be released.

I don't have a 25 cal rifle... YET, but am seriously thinking of getting one if I see one that I like in the classifieds.

I would be interested in one of the 30 cal 55 grain molds but need it in .303.  Can these be lapped somehow to increase a couple thousand?

Contact Al and ask him to run a special oversize one for you the next time he restocks.... It can be done with the same tooling....

From what I understand .303 is the size of the 30 cal AEA Challengers too, mine shoots  pellets really good but never tried any slugs in it because I couldn't find a slug mold for .303 airgun mold.  I wanted the BBT at the time that I bought the gun but there weren't any in stock.

I have one from Accurate  About 54 grain .303, Number 30-050A.  So far I'm getting best results resized to .302 but still needs improvement.  I have the Terminator in 30 cal and accuracy is so so with .300 pellets or slugs.  Purchased NSA 47.2 slugs in .303 and now I can hit a shotgun shell at 50 yds with it.  Was thinking I would like to try NOE's slug that resembles what I am shooting.  Think I will call and see if I can get a .0303 mold on his next batch.  Pouring slugs through the Terminator is expensive.

One big bore that I'd like to shoot would be the "Western Sidewinder"30cal, it's got full auto capability so I'd have to shoot auto on private land. Next time I talk to the DNR when I'm out at the state land I'll ask him if it would be breaking any rules for hunting on semi.  If it's legal I might buy one of those guns.  It's similar to the Huben but the mag is removable on it which is another big plus.
