is this compressor worth $377 plus $20 for the air dryer?
i recently purchased a used daystate regal xl and only have a 3000 psi scuba tank to fill it. the regal holds 3335 psi so i thought is an inexpensive way to fill it, for now.
i very rarely shoot my pcps at home. i mainly use them for hunting so i won't be filling it several times a day.
(at least after the 1st couple weeks)

I have had the Spark compressor for 5 months now and fill 4 guns with it all the time. The compressor has give me no problems whatsoever. I have used it off my truck battery and I do have the 110 volt converter for the house. Largest bottle I fill is my gun with the 480cc carbon bottle to 3600psi and It has not given me any problems.

thanks Butch. at $420 it looks like a good deal for an "entry" level compressor. i really like the idea of it running off 12v also.

My current PCP is for hunting (TC45), but certainly eats a lot of air. Other than those range days where I am working on pellet/scope dope, I don't see needing a ton of air. Do you think this would be good for keeping a guppy bottle full?
So a range day might look like 5 shots, guppy fill at the bench, repeat till guppy empty, guppy fill at truck, repeat.

Their website says for filling tanks up to 1L. A 90ci guppy is 1.47L, so if you were not filling it in a single go, from zero, I would guess it is fine. Just topping off.
