Where did the plastic spring sleeve thread go and why was it moved?  I got a message that it was moved to the simple home repair gate by someone who purported to be a Moderator in NY.

I received a message wherein a Mod was told to move it?  I have to wonder, by whom and for what cause? 

It's really no big deal EXCEPT, there was no direction as to the question's new location.  There may be other GTA members who are interested in the subject's air gun question and who might never see the informative responses that are now 'squirreled away' in some remote subforum.  hey!?

Greg, I don't know that anyone was "told" to move your post.  I suggested that placement under simple tips and tricks might be more appropriate.  One of the moderators made the final decision on placement of the post.  Sometimes the moderator will notify the original posting individual that his post was moved to what is deemed a more appropriate location.  Making a piston sleeve is a pretty simple trick and very handy to know how to do.
