windage ?

So if you set you windage at 10 meters will it need further adjustment at say 30 Meters ?

If the barrel is straight and the scope is parallel with the barrel and everything is in proper alignment the windage or lateral adjustment should stay the same regardless of distance.  Of course even after achieving mechanical perfection with the gun and optics one must still be concerned about any stray breezes on the range - and they can vary in direction and speed over distance.
