AOA has this tank on sale right now.....Anybody have first hand experience with this tank? I am looking for a small tank to throw in a pack or car.

I own and use one. Only thing is it will need to be filled often depending on how much you use it. And it is kind of a pain if your nearest dive shop is a hike from home. A compressor at home will make this your go to tank as it is a breeze to carry with you.
Just my experience.

Whether or not you will need anything else to fill it is dependent on how you are filling it. Since you asking, I assume you have no compressor and will be taking it to a dive shop for a fill. You will need to ask them what they can fill to or what adapters are needed, and also ask them if they can get you a full 4500 psi fill too . . .
These smaller tanks (I have Joe Brancato's 18 cubic foot "Guppy") are wonderful if paired with your own compressor, but would be a bit of a pain if you don't. I easily deplete mine to the point of needing a refill every week or two, and that is just with casual shooting - when I am doing serious work on the guns and tuning them, I have often filled it twice in a day. Easy enough to do with my Shoebox but not so nice if I have to drive tot a dive shop.
So if you are filling one at a shop, make sure they can truly fill you all the way up, or you will get frustrated fast.

Another alternative to a dive shop is the fire department. You will need a Firehouse connection for that to work. Oh and a friend on the fire department. I work for a city and FD fills my tanks for free.

Depending on what you need to connect the micro bore hose to your gun. The hose it ships with just has a female bsp connector. If tou need a Foster Q/C that costs another $23.00's I believe.

Thanks for all the replies!!!! I don't shoot that much and have been using a hand pump and the pump on the gun (FX INDY 25) I will check with the local fire department to see if they are willing to refill

AOA has an Airgun tank fill calculator. Googleing it is easier than looking for it on their site. You plug in your tank capacity, the tank pressure*, your guns fill pressure, the pressure you refill it at, and the size of your guns air reservoir. And, BINGO, it will tell you how many fills you will get. *=you may ask for a 4500 fill but be prepared for a slight drop when the temp cools. FX lists the fill pressure for an Indy at 3200 psi. It didn't list the guns air tank size but you may only get a couple of complete fills with an 18 CF tank. If that's OK, it's all good, probably great if you just use it for hunting, but if you add in a little target shooting...
