Well instead of waiting 90 days for a Veteran long in .22cal. Im thinking about ordering a Veteran long in .25 cal which they have in stock. Have a scope for it.
No rings or pellets for a .25 cal. Couple of questions. Can it be filled with a hand pump. Would i need medium or high rings. This will be a late Xmass
present to my self. Trying to order Saturday.

I used both low and medium UTG quick disconnect on a .25 Standard.
Scope used was a Vortex 6-24x50mm. The low rings had clearance for the scope..1/16"...but that was not enough to add flip up lens caps. So I went with medium.
Never tried filling with a hand pump.
Had really good luck with .25 Edgun 25gr & 34gr pellets. The Standard could push the 34grs at 890fps for -60FPE.

To use low rings on my varmint gun, I noticed the flip cover to fit. Been working for years.

It's a real workout to hand pump my mutant standard to 3600psi.

Well I’m very curious about this rifle, did you get one? I have the .25 in short configuration and it is very accurate with my NOE 34 grain at short range. I just don’t think it moves them fast enough for long range accuracy, haven’t chronyed them yet or tried them at distance. I just think the triggers make Taipans THE guns.
